SLIDESHOW: Demonstrators march against cuts and austerity in Hastings
Hundreds of people descended on the town centre today (Saturday) in protest against government cuts and austerity.
Hastings Solidarity, as part of an ongoing campaign by the People’s Assembly Against Austerity, held the demonstration, starting from Hastings Pier and marching to the town centre. People then assembled outside Sports Direct.
More than 280 pledged to attend the march, voicing their support on the organisation’s Facebook page ahead of today’s demonstration.
