Small fire in Bexhill public toilet

Firefighters tackled a small fire in a public toilet in Bexhill this afternoon (Tuesday, January 26).

One East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service appliance from Bexhill was mobilised to the scene on Channel View East at around 1.20pm.

Crews used breathing apparatus and one hose reel to extinguish a small fire in public toilets.

A positive pressure fan was used to ventilate the area.

Crews left the scene at about 1.50pm.
