Some twisted logic at the Con

Comedy At The Con offers another night of laughs on Thursday, May 5 (doors 7.30pm, show 8.30pm) at The Con Club, 139 High Street, Lewes (www.lewesconclub.co.uk; 07582408418).

The acts will be Dan Evans, Romesh Ranganathan and Ian Stone with MC Dave Mounfield.

Dave said: “For over a decade, Dan’s twisted logic has been gladdening stand-up comedy audiences across the UK and Ireland. He’s also performed his accessible but frequently childish surrealism in front of chubby perspiring ex-pats in Dubai and Oman, had his grammar corrected by the Dutch and the Germans, and has just become one of the very few comics to perform in Hanoi, Vietnam.”

Dave added: “Ranked amongst the top ten stand-ups in Britain by The Independent, Ian Stone is one of the most talented topical acts and comperes on the circuit. He’s also a member of the Comedy Store’s critically acclaimed Cutting Edge team.

“He has performed all over the world including comedy festivals in Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, South Africa, Holland, France, Ireland and Germany. He’s entertained the troops in Kuwait, Bosnia, Kosovo, Cyprus and most recently Afghanistan. Also, he was the first British stand-up to perform in Moscow.”
