Soul & Reggae Night raises £600 for charity

A SOUL & Reggae night, organised by local top D.J.Soulman Sam, raised £600 for the Parchment Trust charity.

Speaking on behalf of Parchment Trust, Jackie Dowling-Stevens said Soulman Sam's Summer Soul & Reggae Night, held at Bexhill's Centre Stage on August 14, was a popular event:

"We are extremely grateful to Soulman Sam for his generosity and the hard work he put into making the evening a brilliant success. I understand people were even queuing for his autograph.

"We completely sold out of tickets and already have a waiting list for his next Soul Night, which is planned for November.

"We would also like to extend our thanks to Debbie & James, proprietors of Centre Stage, they were extremely helpful in every way."
