Spa hotel 'would create jobs boom'

A NEW £20m state-of-the-art spa hotel in Bognor Regis would create around 200 skilled jobs, councillors were told.

The Bognor Regis sub committee of Arun District Council was given a presentation by Butlins about its plans, which will add to the wider regeneration of the area.

Butlins' managing director Richard Bates told members about the jobs boost and said the new hotel would have 570 beds and features would include treatment rooms, a heated swimming pool, outdoor hot tubs , relaxation pools and a spa lounge.
