Special market set to return to Littlehampton

LITTLEHAMPTON’S popular Special Little Things Artisan and Music Market returns today (Saturday, April 25), its winter break over.

Now in its fourth year, the market, in Evans Garden, off Arcade Road, will be back with its unique blend of stalls selling arts and craft items, gifts, beauty products and plants, plus live music and an opportunity to see some of the artists at work.

Doubling up on the day will be Kim Logan, who will not only be helping out on her family’s stall, but also singing, demonstrating a talent she hopes will blossom into a career when she leaves college.

Also performing in the delightful courtyard setting will be the Bamboo Band.

Between enjoying the entertainment and browsing the stalls, visitors to the market can sample the fayre on offer from the pop-up café run by children’s charity Raydar, which is based in Evans Garden, serving bacon sandwiches, tea and coffee until 1pm, while the neighbouring Silk Road Restaurant will be open from lunchtime, with a bar and tastes of the middle east.

Since its launch four years ago, the market has raised hundreds of pounds for Raydar, as well as giving an opportunity for artists and makers to display and sell their wares. The market is open from 10am-4pm and admission is free.
