Speed is king as thousands flock to festival
THOUSANDS enjoyed the best motorsport had to offer at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Highlights included cars and motorbikes tackling the 1.16-mile hillclimb course,which featured Formula One ace Lewis Hamilton in his McLaren Mercedes, fresh from his win at the British Grand Prix.
The festival, held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, also attracted a range of other F1 and rally cars, as well as vintage racers. In addition, visitors saw the Red Arrows in action, performing one of their classic displays.
