“Hence it has been our privilege to be able to make, albeit a small, contribution of our time and some winter plants to add to the seasonal variety of this quiet yet thought-provoking space.”
The team was thanked by Pauline Bullock of Bexhill Old Town Preservation Society which she said was “very grateful”.
The garden has been developed in front of the former washhouse in the original Bexhill village, as a place where people can rest and enjoy flowers as the garden matures.
It is hoped that a community notice board will be placed in the garden for the benefit of residents, depending on planning permission..
