Spotlight on town's future

NEWHAVEN residents are invited to a meeting to discuss the future of the town.

Topics under the spotlight will be education, highways, tourism and culture and the environment.

Chairman of the Newhaven Strategic Network (NSN) Penny Shimmin said: 'This is an opportunity for residents to discuss four of the subjects that will have a major impact on Newhaven in the future. It is vital that residents have a say in the continuing regeneration of the town.'

The meeting will be held at the Denton Island Training and Business Centre today (Friday) from 6pm.

An exhibition on the regeneration of Newhaven can also be seen at the venue today, 6-8pm, and tomorrow (Saturday), 10am-1pm.
