Spring show brings colour and taste to village

This enjoyable village event filled the hall with colourful flowers, skilful handicrafts and delicious exhibits in the cookery classes, which a large number of residents and visitors came to see on a pleasant spring afternoon.

There were 197 entries in the show and the judges had a hard job choosing the winners.

The organisers of the show were delighted with the numbers and the high standard of the exhibits on display and the hall was buzzing with people strolling round or sitting at tables enjoying tea throughout the afternoon.
