Winchelsea Garden Society enjoyed a successful Spring Show despite poor weather.

The overall show winner was John Dunk, who also won the Society’s Cup for Flowers and was joint winner, with Ant Parker and Gilly Tugman for the potted plant cup.

Margaret Gall won The society’s challenge bowl for cookery and Alice Kenyon won the cup for floral art. Alice Kenyon said: “There were wonderful displays. We were very encouraged by entries from new members and those who had never previously shown.”
