"St Trinian's" girls to compete in town's Fun Regatta

ROWERS dressed like the girls of St Trinian's? The Oxford and Cambridge Boat Race was never like this!

The annual Bexhill Rowing Club Fun Regatta will be staged this Sunday from around 11 am.

The action will take place off the club boat house next to the Colonnade.

In an invitation to the public this week club spokesman Tony Page said: "It's a very watchable event with teams of rowers, some in fancy dress (one ladies Four in St Trinian's gear).

"Please come and support the teams as most have never been in a racing boat before!"
