The scheme will run from Monday 6th June to Friday 17th June.

Local solicitors have kindly agreed to take part in the project, which is another piece of good news for the hospice, who only a month ago finalised the details of their move to Bosham.

Instead of the solicitors receiving a fee for their work, donations towards St Wilfrid’s have been requested.

John Robinson, who used the scheme when it was originally created said: “When my dear wife, Pearl, died I felt that it was important to ensure that my Will was brought up-to-date.

“I was pleased to hear about the St Wilfrid’s Make A Will Fortnight scheme as it gave me the opportunity to ensure my affairs were in order and support their excellent work at the same time.

“It was a very simple process and I now have peace of mind that my wishes are officially recorded.”

Ursula Watt, of George Ide LLP said: “The ‘Make a Will Fortnight’ is an excellent opportunity to support the invaluable work St Wilfrid’s Hospice provides whilst gaining the benefit of a professionally drafted Will.

“All the staff at George Ide LLP feel privileged to support our local hospice.”
