Stand Up To Cancer in Midhurst

People in Midhurst turned out in force to join members of the public across the country taking part in the annual Stand Up To Cancer event organised nationwide by Cancer Research UK.

The Midhurst event was co-ordinated by Kirsten Bosley and Maddie Hathaway who invited people from the town and the surrounding area to show cancer what they thought about it by joining hands and forming a ‘people circle’ around South Pond.

Everyone who attended the event was invited to make a donation to fight cancer and Maddie and Kirsten are hoping this year’s total will beat the £400 amount raised at their first Stand Up To Cancer event last year.
