Stars in their eyes as South Chailey pub hosts stargazing night

Stargazing will be on the cards ats Horns Lodge in South Chailey on Saturday February 21 with the help of the East Sussex Astronomical Society.

Astronomy in the Pub will be free and will include solar observing from 2pm to 4pm and nightime observing and talks from 7pm to 11pm.

Telescopes will be in the garden of the pub and amateur astronomers on hand to answer questions.

You will be able to see the International Space Station pass overhead and Jupiter.

The speakers will include Richie Jarvis from South Common Observatory, Jane A Green from Eastbourne Astronomical Society and Charlotte Clarke from the University of Sussex.
