PEVENSEY AND WESTHAM FLOWER Club: will be holding their Spring Coffee Morning on Saturday April 23 in Westham Village Hall from 10 am to 12 noon. Stalls include home made cakes, books, tombola, basket raffle, handbags, scarves, jewellery, Trash and Treasure. There will also be a display of floral arrangements. Entrance is 50 pence, to include coffee and biscuits.

ST GEORGE’S DAY: CAN go with a swing this year at the Red and White Night swing jive evening event at St Luke’s Parish Centre on Saturday April 23. Music for all dances will be provided. Take along your own drinks and snacks although tea, biscuits and cake will be provided by the organisers. The evening will start at 8 pm and finish by 11 pm. A SERIES OF HALF-DAY practical craft sessions: in various subjects are available at the Multi-Skills Workshop on the Chaucer Business Estate, Polegate during the summer of 2016. Some of the subjects included are an Introduction to Woodwork: Metalwork Craft Skills and Forge work: Pewter Casting: Wood Turning: Metalwork Machine Shop: Welding and DIY for beginners. Sessions are approximately 3 hours in duration and can be arranged at a mutually convenient time: cost of materials is included unless specific alternatives are requested and all sessions are led by a qualified and experienced teacher. Royal British Legion: THE NEXT MEETING OF the Pevensey, Westham and Stone Cross Branch of the Royal British Legion will be held on Tues April 19 in Westham Village Hall, starting at 2.30 pm. All members are invited to attend. Don’t forget that the Branch will be holding their Branch Coffee Morning in St Wilfrid’s Hall, Pevensey Bay on Saturday April 23 from 10 am to 2 pm. This is an event which is well worth supporting so please go along and help make the morning a success.
