Store supports good causes

Bootsales held at Jempsons Peasmarsh superstore over the summer have raised over £1,800 for local charities and good causes.

The first Boot fair was held in April and they continued every Bank Holiday Monday until the end of August.

All the money from the sales of pitches and collections on the day where donated to Rye’s Bonfire Society, District Community Transport, Day Centre & Activities and the Rother Responders.

Stephen Jempson said: “Our annual Boot Fairs are a well-established event in the Jempson’s calendar.

“We take great pleasure in offering our services for the benefit of local good causes and the community. These events are well organised and we hope that they will be even bigger and better when they return.
