Store's new bin boosts reuse of paper cartons

A recycling first will enable paper-based food and drink cartons to be reused in Bognor Regis.

A new black and white bin is being installed at the Tesco store in Shripney Road to accept the containers.

The 1,100 litre capacity all-black container '“ one of five in the Arun district '“ is being provided as part of a two-year pilot scheme to increase even further the record recycling rate of households.

Tetra Pak and the carton industry are supporting the initiative.

The scheme is a further example of Arun District Council's willingness to boost recycling.
