Stormin’ Normans in Battle re-enactment

Hundreds of re-enactors from across the UK and France, will array on the battlefield along with the horses of the Norman cavalry.

With the wood smoke drifting from the white tented encampments the scene is set for the epic clash that defined English history.

A packed programme will keep the whole family entertained throughout the day.

Get up close to the knights and their horses in the cavalry encampment.

Immerse yourself in medieval life: Watch the chain mail and weaponry makers and take an entertaining look at the Bayeux Tapestry.
