English Heritage’s Battle of Hastings re-enactment returns to 1066 Battle of Hastings, Abbey and Battlefield on Saturday, October 10, and Sunday, October 11.

Hundreds of re-enactors from across the UK and France, will array on the battlefield along with the horses of the Norman cavalry.

With the wood smoke drifting from the white tented encampments the scene is set for the epic clash that defined English history.
