Storrington lightning strike fire
A LIGHTNING strike sparked a blaze that gutted the garage of a Storrington home on Friday afternoon.
Two fire engines were sent to a property in Bunbury Close after receiving a call at around 5pm.
The garage was fully ablaze, but firefighters using breathing apparatus were able to tackle the flames and prevent the fire spreading to the adjacent house.
The property occupier was able to move the car from the garage before the fire grew.
