Story Factory’s resident musician is Mike Fry, who will be helping the children to create their own soundscape stories.

Other guests this October will include Debbie Chapman from Summersdale Publishers, artist and teacher Jessica Venables, and photographer and teacher Rachel Poulton.

Katy Lessetter, event organiser, said: “The objective is to get children to use and develop their imagination.

“We know that children come up with the most amazing and creative ideas and stories and produce some really exciting work.

“It’s not about perfect spelling or being a fantastic artist, the idea is simply to get the ideas flowing, let them fly and to have a lot of fun in the process.

“We’re thrilled to have such fantastically experienced guest experts joining us again, and for the support of our wonderful sponsors, JSPC Computer Services, and also Paperchase, who provide super goody bags for the children so that they can continue to be creative at home.”
