Strictly Come Dancing star Ian Waite will be in Uckfield for one night only to deliver a dance masterclass in aid of local charities.
The professional dancer will visit the town on Saturday, June 27 to promote a new and unique dance and fitness programme called FitSteps. FitSteps is the brain child of Ian Waite, fellow Strictly professional Natalie Lowe and six-time world champion swimmer Mark Foster, who is a former Strictly contestant and an expert in fitness and conditioning.
They have combined, for the first time, the best known and most popular Latin and Ballroom dances, including the Cha Cha, Jive, Rumba, Waltz, Quickstep and Salsa, with proven fitness techniques.
Ian will be teaching FitSteps at the Uckfield Civic Centre from 12pm on Saturday, June 27. Anybody over the age of 14 can take part, with no dancing experience required.
Tickets are £14.00 and can be booked by emailing local Instructor, Natalie, on Fitsteps-Uckfield@hotmail.com.
FitSteps has been working in association with the Uckfield Festival to bring the one-off opportunity to town, from which all the proceeds will be donated to local charities.
