On Saturday she won a date with Sam, a plumber from Milton Keynes.

She took an interest in his love of pistachio nuts, saying: “I eat about 12 bananas a day at minimum and if you can put up with my eating habits, I can put up with yours.”

Speaking about the show, she said: “The experience of the girls was great and doing the show itself. The whole thing has so much girl power.

“The boys on the show are kept away from us before we go on-air, but you can mingle afterwards and I think everyone has made some great friendships.

“One of my highlights was Paddy (McGuiness). He really is lovely, and what you see is what you get. He is always playing around backstage, and he just loves to mess around.”
