Students develop taste for France

Forty Nine students and staff departed from Robertsbridge Community College for a long weekend Arts and Languages trip to Paris just before the end of the term. Despite the dock strike at Calais they were able to get across without a delay and meet up with their host families, the ideal way to practice their French.

During the course of the trip they will visit: the Louvre; the Musee d’Orsay; have an excursion through the city; take a boat trip on the Seine; visit the artist quarter of Montmartre; and take in the Eiffel Tower and Montparnasse. The trip will conclude with a day trip to Disneyland.

The experience will help them to improve their language skills and/or develop their artistic skills and knowledge in preparation for their exams over the coming months.
