Students donate goods to Rucksack Project

Hazelwick students have donated items such as socks, sleeping bags and toothbrushes to help Crawley's homeless.

The Year 8 students from the school in Three Bridges were taking part in the Rucksack Project, an initiative set up to help those sleeping rough this winter.

On Wednesday (December 18), they sent dozens of bags of goods to Crawley Open House ready for the official hand-over on Sunday.

The school hailed the initiative “a huge success”.
