Student Mikaela Overton said: “This is a great opportunity to gain experience in promoting our work.
“I’ve enjoyed designing and making Christmas based products, and I’m looking forward to seeing the public’s response.”
Students from Rye Studio School are also singing Christmas carols in Priory Meadow next Thursday (December 18), during late-night shopping from 5pm to 8pm.
The young people from Hastings, Rye and Rother will perform a collection of carols and songs, accompanied by students playing keyboard and acoustic guitars.
Sue Warren, learning coach, said: “This is a great opportunity for the students to showcase their talents, and they invite members of the public to enjoy their music, and to join in.”
