Sue bows out after 22 years

More than two decades of helping others through a Bognor Regis charity is ending for a loyal member of staff.

Sue Bond is leaving the town's office of the Council for Voluntary Service '“ Arunwide with a good luck celebration today.

She joined the organisation 22 years ago when it was the CVS for just Bognor and said she had enjoyed every minute of her involvement.

'I've got some wonderful memories and had some good laughs,' explained Bognor community link worker Sue (58). 'And I've met some fabulous people along the way.

'I'm a people person and it's been lovely to help so many over the years.'

But the experience of Sue, a grandmother of six, of Church Lane in Pagham, will not be lost for ever. She intends to return to the CVS as a volunteer in the autumn to see where she can help with its community work.
