Both Mayor McDonald and Councillor Murphy enjoyed taking part in some of the activities that were available, before being shown around the Ofsted graded ‘Outstanding’ nursery by the manager Tonia Maidment.

The nursery, located in Chesswood Road was set up by Sharon Ashworth-Leach and has gone from strength to strength since it was opened, before achieving a prestigious ‘outstanding’ grade from Ofsted. The nursery has a strong family ethos and regularly holds events alongside the parents that attend. It offers quality childcare for children aged three months to five years.

The strong partnership with parents saw the summer fair being very well attended by parents, children and staff.
