Sunte House landhousing bid rejected
Campaigners have won their fight to get councillors to reject a plan for 15 homes in the grounds of Sunte House at Gander Green, Haywards Heath.
They are now waiting to see if developers Banner Homes will appeal against the unanimous decision of the Planning Committee A of Mid Sussex District Council last Thursday.
Two objecters addressed the meeting and local councillors spoke in support of the wish of local families to have the application turned down.
The company has the right of appeal after studying details of the decision.
