Supermarkets shortlist youth charity

The Wave Project helps children and young people improve their emotional health through surfing and paddle-boarding combined with mentoring.

Over the last two years, the project has supported many children and young people with a mental health issue, learning difficulty or physical disability.

Volunteer Project Coordinator, Antionette Hage said: “We’re just so stoked! As a small local charity, potential support from Sainsburys could make a massive difference to the number of sessions we can provide to children and young people

across Brighton and Hove.”

The Wave Project is urging the local community to back the Project by popping in either the Brighton New England Street store and the West Hove store to vote.
