Surprise visitors at Beckley School

SPRING arrived with a bounce at Beckley School last week when two lambs made a guest appearance.

Verity Langrish from Ludley Farm in Beckley, brought week old lambs into school for children to feed and to answer questions from children.

Verity said: “It’s the best way to learn, seeing things first hand. Even though we all live in the countryside it is surprising how many children do not get the opportunity to get up close to farm animals.’

The children also chose names for the two lambs, with Sid and Baarbra coming out top.
