Suspicious shoebuyer flees shop
A MAN showed a Rye shop owner a clean pair of heels after he aroused suspicion trying to purchase three pairs of shoes worth £280 at The Mint on July 14.
He fled when the owner grew suspicious, believing that he intended to use a fake method of payment. He was in his late 20’s wearing plimsolls and had a round face.
