Over the next three weeks people across Sussex, and neighbouring areas, who are members of SCT are invited to vote for their representative to serve on the council of governors.

The candidates in the elections are members of the public and staff who want to work alongside the trust board to shape the future of the trust.

Sussex Community NHS Trust is the main provider of community healthcare across Brighton and Hove and West Sussex.

There will be public elections in four of the public constituencies – Brighton & Hove, Worthing, Chichester and Horsham, with thirteen candidates seeking six places on the council.

Sue Sjuve, chair said: ‘I am delighted that we have nominations to be a governor in all public and staff constituencies and elections in many of them.

“Our FT governors will form a 23-strong council of governors and work with the trust board to help develop our strategy, hold the board to account for our performance and ensure that the views of the public and staff are represented.”
