Sussex heatwave: Fire reported in Tangmere

A fire has been reported in Tangmere this evening, August 11.

At 4.59pm a six foot fire was reported in a crop field in Tangmere.

West Sussex Fire and Rescue were assisted by a farmer using a plough to try and break the flames.

The fire comes after numerous fires in Sussex over recent days, including Walberton and Fishbourne.
