The 15 year old, who left The Prebendal School, Chichester, in 2012, was head chorister at The Prebendal, and won the BBC Young Chorister of the Year in 2012.

He won tonight’s semi-final after more than two million votes were received - the most for any semi-final this week so far.

Isaac said he was ‘buzzing’ at the result. The final will be broadcast live with millions of BGT fans tuning in.

The Britain’s Got Talent website (www.itv.com/britainsgottalent) reported tonight: “Ant and Dec’s golden boys Boyband made the final three but the night was all about Isaac Waddington who you voted your favourite act this evening.”

On Saturday he wowed the judges and audience in his audition and music mogul Simon Cowell said: “I think we’ve found somebody really truly special.”

After Isaac’s first performance on the show, Prebendal head master, Tim Cannell, said: “This is a fantastic achievement for Isaac and we are all really pleased for him.”
