Sussex Travel News: Sunday morning on the roads and rail


As of this morning, there was congestion reported on the A27 in West Sussex with queuing traffic and long delays on Arundel Road westbound between Fontwell Services Roundabout in Fontwell and the A285 junction in Strettington.
There was also congestion on the A27 along the Chichester Bypass eastbound in Chichester between Whyke Roundabout and Portfield Roundabout.

Hide AdCongestion was also reported this morning at around 8.50am on the A286 West Sussex, with queuing traffic on A286 southbound in Singleton around the Town Lane junction.
Elsewhere across Sussex main roads appear to be free of traffic jams.
On the trains, Southern reported a good service on trains along the Brighton Mainline and Coastway East route this morning.
Southeastern, which runs trains from Hastings to London’s Charing Cross, is also reporting no problems on the route.
