SUSSEX WEATHER: Dry week ahead

The torrential downpours of last week look to be at an end for the imminent future, according to the Met Office.

For the week beginning August 17, a dry but cloudy day is predicted on Monday with temperatures around 14-16 °C.

As the week increases this could get slightly warmer with temperatures pushing 19°C by Friday (August 21).

However, the cloud will linger with weather experts not promising much sunshine on Tuesday (August 18).

There could be a splash of rain in a few places on Wednesday morning (August 19) but overall it is looking like an improvement on the week that has just been.

There are currently no weather warnings in place for Sussex from the Met Office.
