SUSSEX WEATHER: The outlook over next few days

The county is set to witness sweltering temperatures over the next few days, hitting the high 20s.

According to the Met Office, today (Sunday, June 28) there will be broken clouds throughout the day at times with some bright or sunny spells expected.

A few outbreaks of rain are possible, but these will clear clear this evening.

It will be breezy at times, but winds easing later.

It will be a dry night tonight with scattered or broken cloud. Winds, which will be southwesterly, will become light and variable in places.

Tomorrow (Monday, June 29) should see a dry and pleasantly warm day with some good sunny spells across Sussex and the South East, with light southwesterly winds.

Temperatures could climb into the mid-20s (°C).

The outlook for Tuesday (June 30) to Thursday (July 2) is dry and increasingly warm on Tuesday with some sunshine and hot on Wednesday with risk of thundery showers later. V

It is forecast to be very warm and hot on Thursday across Sussex with some showers.
