Tack sale tohelp raisefunds forcharity
Local charity Brownbread Horse Rescue are holding an indoor tack sale to raise funds to see them through the winter.
The event will be held at Stones Cross memorial hall, Dittons Road, on Sunday September 27, 11.30-2pm.
Organiser Rebecca Peasgood is appealing for help. “We are in desperate need of funds to be able to keep the farm, which holds over 20 horses we have rescued over the years, plus frequent rescues and horses coming in and out,” she said. “The winter is upon us and it is a very expensive time of year. We are worried we will not have enough funds to keep the rescue centre going so we really need to make this day a success.” Tables at the event, for people to sell their unwanted horsey stuff or general unwanted items, cost £8 or £12.
