PHOTOGRAPHS taken from in and around Polegate have been invited to produce the third Polegate Calendar in aid of St Wilfrid’s Hospice.
Organiser Dan Dunbar wants to give local people a chance to use photography to show what living and working in Polegate means to them.
Subjects which could be included are buildings, scenery, local events and positive aspects of living and working in the area. Judges will look for rural and urban landscapes, a creative approach and good technical ability.
Dan Dunbar said: “I want local people to use photography to capture well know local views from a new angle, to show Polegate and the local area from a new and interesting viewpoint.”
The competition is open to all parish residents who have until 12pm midday on October 19 to enter their four images into the competition. Calendars will then be available from the St Wilfrid’s Hospice charity shop in Polegate and other shops.
Send images with the image title and your contact details to the Polegate Town Council, 49 High Street, Polegate. For more information tel: 07743982610 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
