Taking the Plunge

STAFF and customers of the White Horse Inn in Steyning took the plunge, quite literally, for a good cause.

A special bungee jump fund-raising event was organised on Monday evening to raise money for the pub s chosen charity this year, Lucan, a charity for children with suffering from leukemia and raised more than 1,100.

The jump was set up in the pub s car park and more than 30 people took part, including bar man Richard Plassing, who was first to jump.
