“We have a very dedicated group. Most members in our advanced band have been playing steel pan for three to six years. Some of the experienced players also help teach the other bands. We also have brilliant parent helpers. I’m very proud of our achievements.”

This will be the icing on the cake for the band, having already had a memorable year performing across Europe, in Paris, Germany and Switzerland.

The performance at the Royal Albert Hall will bring together some of the country’s finest young musicians and singers.

Tickets are available from the hall’s website. For more information about the TLA Steel Band please see the website, www.tlasteelband.com or visit the band’s Facebook page.
