Tarring action team comes under fire over tackling yobs

Several residents said things had not improved since the team was formed last October.

They were speaking after a public meeting last Wednesday for people to raise any concerns and get an update on the team's work.

One woman said she thought it had got worse, adding that some residents didn't attend the meeting because they were intimidated.

Another resident who lives in South Street said: "I just can't wait until the Easter and summer when it will increase fivefold."
