Tea party for Perthes Disease

You might never have heard of Perthes Disease but a fundraising event held on Sunday raised £550 to the delight of the organiser.

Lara Mayhew held a tea party to spread awareness of the rare debilitating condition which affects the hip.

Lara commented: “It was a great success, both for raising awareness of Perthes Disease and for raising funds for Donavan Halpin www.ahipfordonavan.com.
