Team tackles cycle ride for heart charity

A group of staff from a Chichester housing association saddled up for the London to Brighton bike race last Sunday.

The 14-strong team from HydeMartlet covered the 54-mile race to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.

Before the event, the association held its own green week where staff undertook five days of activities to increase awareness of greener working and living. It is hoped the race will help further the group's green ethos.

HydeMartlet managing director Martin Ward said: "The team trained very hard and I am really proud of their effort.

"As part of Green Week we have tried to encourage more staff to cycle to work, as all our offices have train stations nearby."
