Teen seriously hurt after being hit by car in Sedlescombe

The accident happened just after 11.20pm on the B2244, The Street, and involved a silver Chrysler Voyager driven by a 39-year-old local woman.

She was treated for shock.

The 18-year-old man, from Ore, was taken to the Conquest Hospital, Hastings, with a head injury.

A 17-year-old pedestrian, who was with him, received a minor injury.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have any information, to call 0845 60 70 999 quoting Operation Bilbrook.
