At about 3.40pm on Monday (March 27) the woman was in central Bexhill, preparing to catch a bus to Eastbourne, when she became aware of the man following her as she entered and left the Co-op in Devonshire Road, and then into nearby Devonshire Square.

At that point he beckoned her to the men’s toilets where he kissed her on the cheek and sexually touched her over her clothing, before stealing a small quantity of cash from her.

He walked off over the railway bridge at about 4.05pm.
