Teenager assaulted at Butlin’s in Bognor Regis

POLICE are calling for witnesses after a teenager was beaten up at a Bognor Regis holiday camp.

An 18-year-old man from Epsom, in Surrey, was assaulted at Butlin’s on July 30.

“The man was talking to two young women, believed to be called named Amelia and Athena, whom he had met earlier in the day. He was approached by a man who told him to go away,” said a police spokesman.

“The man then punched him in the face. The victim suffered cuts and bruising which required medical treatment at St Richard’s Hospital, in Chichester.”

The assault happened around 9.30pm and officers said today they wanted to hear from the two women present or anyone else who may have information about the incident.
