Teenager is the youngest Brit to conquer Everest

Aest Sussex 19-year-old and his former Horsham schoolfirend have become the youngest Britons to climb to the summit of Mount Everest.

Rob Gauntlett of Balls Cross near Petworth and James Hooper from Somerset, reached the summit via the mountain's north side last Wednesday and are now safely back at the base of the mountain.
