Teenager takes minigolf crown at Splash Point

A TEENAGER tore through the field to win a national minigolf tournament in Worthing on Sunday.

Adam Kelly, 17, from Cambridge, beat 26 other players to the British Minigolf Association British Masters title, held at the Splash Point course, in Denton Gardens.

His overall score for four rounds was 12-under-par, with course owner Peter Emmerson in second place.

He took home a cheque for £60, along with a trophy and the coveted tweed jacket.
